Cody and Steve
went fishing before our boat trip. They caught a couple of fish that we could not identify. Then at 12 noon we left the marina on our 21' Skiff. We traveled about 45 mins. before reaching Bull's Point (a private uninhabited island) It was eerie seeing the intercoastal waterway dump into the ocean and not see any ANY houses or other people. It was like we were in the middle of the tv show LOST. Miles of white sanding beached with shells galore! We found 15+ sandollars, 16+ inch conch shell, and a bucket full of other large shells! It was great. Then is was time to head back to the boat after walking for over an hour. I was worried that the tide might have washed our boat out the sea. Luckily it was still anchored in the sand. Then we headed back and took stops along the way to watch dolphins playing around our boat. We even watched a 5-6ft shark in the surf. We spent 4 hours out in the middle of nowhere exploring. It was heaven! The most striking thing I saw all day was an America Flag flying out in the middle of a salt marsh. There was literally nothing out there- not for miles. I was very humbled and honored seeing our flag flying.
