Another Day At Home

A typical day....what kind of critters will we find in our yard today? It began with a green snake in the front shrubs. All the children got to hold it before releasing safely into our yard.

Then our kitty brought home a baby bunny (its eyes were not even open yet). Sorry no photos. We think that we found its burrow and we returned it safely to its mommy.

We also have a turtle that we found weeks ago and we painted (with nail polish) "Timmy" on its back. While looking for the bunnies burrow we found Timmy.

So then Logan found a spider.

And last but not least we found another (notice the word ANOTHER we have hundreds) CATERPILLAR!
Just a typical day for us. Some days we find bats, hummingbirds,
deer, racoons (at night), moles, clams, worm snakes, black snakes, green anoles, salamanders, and many many more. My children are not afraid and are very eager to show me all of their precious finds... some are not so precious to me!
