Cody finally did it. He went on the first of many flight lessons, the orientation flight. Saturday happened to be one of the windiest days of the year (early March winds). Cody took off in a Civil Air Patrol plane, a 1977 Cessna, around 13:45. Within a few hours we received a phone call that he was back on the ground. He said that he could not go back up that day and take over the controls because he was feeling sick. Evidently the turbulence coupled with the fancy nose dives and twisty maneuvers the flight instructor was making, was a little too much for Cody. He came home with a headache and a ball of nerves. He is ready to go back up, he knows the wind was the problem. Lesson #2 coming soon.

This is the part where he begins to get sick...
